Microsoft Office 2007 to come next year as well
Software giants Microsoft have said that they would be delaying the consumer launch of the MS Office 2007 till next year to coincide with the launch of the much-awaited operating system Microsoft Windows Vista.
The company had just recently announced that they were delaying the launch of Vista to January next year to ensure that the product delivered to the masses was secure enough. Both MS Office 12 and Windows Vista were scheduled to be launched later this year.
However, the company would still be making available the MS Office 2007 version to their business customers later this year in October. The business customers of Microsoft would also be getting their Vista copies by November this year.
Vista would be the first major update to their operating system product since Windows XP was launched almost 5 years ago. MS Office was last updated in 2003 and both these products are very crucial to the financial health of the company.
