Thread: An error message with Yahoo Messenger

I get a weird message when i chat in yahoo messenger. It says "you cannot ignore yourself". It is really irritating when u are in the middle of a chat. I have found that many people get the same error. Does anyone have a fix for it. I use Y! Messenger 8.1

try a different id, c if the problem is there or not.

I have 3 ids and get the eror message in all, at different times ofcourse. The message goes temporarily after repeatedly clicking on OK. But returns after some time. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling messenger but to no avail.
