Thread: Refer me a good Email Client

I am using IMAP. I have enabled IMAP on Gmail settings. I am getting a message that says Connected. Like this:



After that I get this error message



I tried connecting many times, but not working.

The last line of my previous post... did u have a look?

Yeah, I checked it. But still no good. I decided to give Firefox a try and set up everything. And this is what I got when I connected.

The following article was written in Dec, 2007. I'm not sure if windows-live-mail has the same issue until now.

vishnu89 Its not a problem with the client... You are telling me u have chacked up the settings many times.... so i just can't think of anything now. i had configured the accounts (4 of them) long time back and each works like a charm... backed up the accounts and now i don't have to configure them again n again after each format.


Maybe its a problem with the server side which wud resolve itself soon?...

Did you configure any of those four accounts with IMAP?

All the accounts i use are imap.

Just checked. I used Outlook Express with the same exact settings I used in Windows Live Mail and it is working without any problem. Why can't I get it in Windows Live Mail, the configurations are same in both ? I really liked Windows Live Mail's interface.

There MUST be something wrong somewhere...
