Generally sony-erricson mobile phones are costlier than others... are they really worth it..?

Well it is not that only Sony have costlier handset. If you see you would notice that each and every thing of Sony is expsive as compared to other companies but one thing more i would like to say is that they also give you quality for this price.

Yes it is 100% true that SE gives best quality in every part of their phone either earphone or music player.
Quality is always higher than the cost.

ve been using a SE phones since more than 3 years now....n its freaking too good...!!!! the best ones.....!!!!!

close your eye can go for SE phones
i have 10 SE phones in my house no problem with any phone
Sure Quality of Sony is very very good compared to Nokia

Sony ericsson gives decent audio quality and superb sound in FM.

Very true! I have been using SE k750i since October 2005 and it still sounds better than most Nokia phones.

it may be costly but its because of its quality...u dont just c the price also c the quality...no one can beat sony in quality

Well I find it cheaper compared to nokia high end mobile phones. I used w700i,w960i and I was really happy with the overall performance including the battery backup. All my friends complaied about ericsson having poor battery back up but I never faced that issue. Now I wanto buy w705i but waiting for the price to drop a bit more :P.

Sony erricson is no where near the quality of products Nokia provides. Be it battery... ease of use and off course the brand in itself is larger then life.

Sony did come out with some ahead of its time phones once upon a time but Nokia has been very consistent with its quality and I cant even remember a single Nokia phone model about which I could say oh God what have they done and I feel like saying it for every second sony phone.

Nokia's technology and designs are well ahead of competition and it is worth every penny you spend on them.

I used to buy lg, Motorola and sony erricson untill 2002 but since then I have always been buying Nokia very religiously.

sony makes sexy and stylish phones, but their mobiles look weirdo after just some months of usage...

I think all of you who are going crazy on sony should read & confirm your facts.According to me "no body should post without confirming".

I dont know which mags & source have reported that Sony is largest seller of mobiles.
In fortune 500- Nokia is 87th largest company by revenue & Sony Corp.( which includes its all products) is 92nd in revenue terms.

Even in music as all know its walkman quite far than apple ipods & ipod had replaced walkman as mostselling music device.

Its gaming console playstation3 is distance 3rd behind Wii & Xbox360.(contrast this to that era when PS2 was No. 1 & sold most devices in history.)

Sony is a company which glories have long been eclipsed.

By the way, Sony is 5th in mobile dvices .List in Asending Order : -
Nokia,
Samsung,
Motorola(again a company which used to be a giant in electronics ,do you know it used to make processors also, but it is rapidly losing grounds),
LG ( making major gains).
Sony ( do I have to bash it more than say thats its what its vaio laptops that normal dont in fact a 4/5th price laptop do much).

To those talking of quality -all parts are more or less are manufacture by in same condition unless a thing got higher scale only then it matters & if it has manufacture will most definately show it.
Do anyone can point to impatial source that sony quality is 2 times better than others.

What about a Facht...that I have been using an SE phone for the past four years without any problems. It is still faster than most Nokia phones.

well not talking as per some magazine or journal or sources personal experience counts. since i lost my last nokia cell phone in 2005 that was a nokia 6600 i tried samsung was not happy at all and since 2006 i am using SE and i am quiet happy with it. All of the models thats I used and definitely whatever someones' research say i will love to own another SE phone and thats goin to be 705i.

To 18lama,yeah from my personal experience I can say my legs are faster than light so from tommorow you all should walk.You can write as much you want from personal experience but these are not verified facts.
If you are talking about speed forget about it you dont even have mention the unit in which you are comparing.
