Default Will Saurav Ganguly be the 1st Indian to score century in his 1st and last test?

The way Krejza turned the ball today, its a good sign for Bhajji & Viru. Anything above 450 is a good score.Hoping that DADA will score a ton on his last test.

Krejza to Ganguly, OUT, And Jason gets his five-for! Super moment for the debutant and the Aussies crowd him. It turned from the leg and middle line and Ganguly pushed at it and got a thick edge. Clarke, at first slip, flung himself to his left to take a very sharp catch. Jason is da maan. Fine innings from Ganguly, though. He looked so solid and serene. Fab knock. Pity he didn't get the ton.

    SC Ganguly c Clarke b Krejza 85 (153b 8x4 1x6) SR: 55.55

Oh no! It is likely that Dada may get a chance in the 2nd innings.

I just realized that Mohammed Azaruddin is already in the list of players to score a century in his first and last test.

Yes Azhar did that against England on debut and against South Africa in his last match... Yesterday was a great chance for Ganguly to score a century... Now I guess it will be tough in 2nd innings on spinning wicket... Still hez signing off in style by few good performances in this series... He deserved it...

:48: Ganguly out for a duck in final innings :48:

Sourav Ganguly did a Don Bradman when he fell for a duck in his final Test innings on Day 4 of the fourth and final Test against Australia in Nagpur.

That dismissal ended a remarkable career. The former India captain, who scored 85 in the first innings, finished with a tally of 7,212 runs in 113 Tests, inclusive of 16 centuries and 35 half-centuries.

i will be really glad if he decides to join the management sometime in the near future. He has an eye for talent. Someone like him is desperately needed in our cricket management sector.

I completely agree with Evander Leopold, Ganguly has an eye for talent... He should be in our next selection panel.. besides that I want to see him in commentary box too... I love his comments... he talks sense...

I agree with that. You must either score a 100 or 0 in your last innings to be remembered for a long time.
