    Default India-England Test Series

After much complication, India England Test Series finally commenced on scheduled today, though the location for the matches changes because of security reasons, but all well that ends well. Earlier this match was supposed to be played at Ahmedabad but now new place is Chennai, same with the second test, It will be played in Mohali from 19th Dec.

Truely, England should be complimented that they came back, especially after 5-0 defeat in One day series, if they wanted they could have cancelled the tour, which means a Big Black Spot on Indian Cricket and Security.

I way away on weekend and no body updated the thread

Anyways, currently the match is going through a very interesting phrase. 50-50 chances for both team

We lost Laxman early in the session but Yuvraj and Sachin have ensured that India are in a commanding position, putting on 80 runs for the fifth wicket. India are just 83 runs away from a historic victory and unless England can get a few quick wickets, India will fancy their chances.

    Current Score:

    304/4
    Needs 83 more to win

Sachin Tendulkar's unbeaten 41st Test ton and Yuvraj's 85 guided India to a historic six-wicket win over England in the first Test. India lead the two-match series 1-0

Sachin Tendulkar still carries a 16 year old boy within him. This picture is one of the best I have seen. The feeling comes from the following factors:

    a) Often his blood-suckers used to say that Sachin does not perform when it matters.
    b) They would further add that his second innings performance is average at best. Only 3 centuries in 2nd innings (now 4).

Sachin himself could not hide the joy that after long, India managed to chase a substantial total (the 4th best run chase) and succeeded. But above all - this was exorcising the ghost of 1999 on this very ground against Pakistan.
*** Never argue with an idiot. ***

This innings is quite similar to the century against Pakistan in 1999 that was also in chepauk and pakistan bowling is far better than English bowling attack unfortunately India could not win that match .Tendulkar has lot of good innings but I still think the century against Australia in Perth (1992) is the best

Second match commenced at Mohali today.

India won the toss and elected to bat.

Lost Sehway early today who went for Duck.

But the good thing is Rahul is back in form, the wall is still strong, batting on 60.

But, the main attraction for today's show is Gambhir who is currently playing on 92 with 11 fours and 1 six.

Overall India a good position, thought the run rate is bit low.

Current Score: 159/1 in 62 overs. Run Rate: 2.56
