| Now in India we have to satisfied with only Cricket but don't forget another game football which we used to play well in past.Once we beat South Korea in south Korea but that's the past present scenario is from 1996 to 2008 our rank is down from 94 to 144 from total (201) country.Do you think Indian govt.(sports department) and AIFF gives enough attention to that game specially where Only 9-10 cricket playing nation is available in world and more than 200 football playing nation is present in fifa list. Most of the European and Latin American country never know the name of cricket where us country like Brazil,Argentine become famous in the world by the football. We all know the Australian cricket but still football is the most popular game in Australia also some people say if football gets more popular then cricket will be the less popular in India but i don't want to enter such debate.I can only say 90 min game with full of excitement which most of world already feel i think also Indian people will be attach with this game just need a major improvement in game infrastructure.Just think Asia's most old Football club present in our country Mohan Bagan(1889 before Barcelona,AC Milan) and IFA founded in 1893 no Asian country had played football that time but now we are lagging day by day how can we except ? |

| Senior Member & Mod | Football is more sporty game than cricky i think most of our people are not too much into running all the time after a single ball, dribbling and making way through towards the goalpost for 90 minutes... by the way,i like football more for the tactics involved, mindgame and sport'sness but i too like to cricky for the same above cause i mentioned Last edited by mickey; 01-11-09 at 09:20 PM.
