Heard about the Pepsi First Ball ka Captain contest? 16 winners will get the opportunity to bowl against batting legends in the Twenty20 World Cup at England in June. 40 others will be given an all expenses-paid trip to watch one of the matches. There are 75000 pen drives and sippers also to be won while the Pepsi My Can is a guaranteed prize. All you have to do is exchange 4 specially marked labels of Pepsi 500/600ml or 8 specially marked blue crowns of Pepsi 200ml/300ml at the nearest redemption centre and get a scratch card. I am quite excited by the prospect of bowling to a cricketing legend, being aired to a million viewers who will watch this live on ESPN channel. |

| Cricketers say money is not big thing. It is the honour of playing for the country. But when it comes to the ads, it is otherwise. Sachin and SRK would have learned some lessons by now. They were sought only to sell Pepsi. Dumped when Dhoni and Ranbir Kapoor scored. Mammooty was about to promote for Coke. But he was associated with CPM, due to public opinion, he withdrew from it. |
