As no doubt now we all will support our own country ie INDIA to bring home the world cup second time. As the IPL just ended and all our key player (from every team) are performing well and so almost everybody is in form now and ready for the battle ...
Hope the world cup comes back home again.

If one bowler and two batsmen are already in the form then it will not take long others to join them... as we all know even a single person can turn the match around in T20

I am very sorry ... dont add 5:30. Add only 4:30 to the times mentioned.

For the schedule in IST : ICC World Twenty20 2009 - Schedule

i.e, we will watch indian matches from 10:00 pm

The good thing is we do not need to choose a team. I hate to choose between CSK and DD.

The Only thing which is against the Indian team at this moment is the fatigue of players and minor injuries. After such a long IPL, all Indian players are tired. Moreover, Our deadly opening partnership - gambhir and sehwag, is still looking out of form. Most of key Aussie players are fit and fresh as they didnt play IPL. Let's see.

India begin their campaign with the warm up match against the Black Caps (Kiwis). Let hope that the Men in Blue bring back the cup.

Here's my Indian team for the T20 WC 2009
    1. Sehwag
    2. Gambir
    3. Raina
    4. Yuvraj
    5. Dhoni
    6. Yusuf Patan
    7. R Sharma / R Jadeja
    8. Irfan Patan
    9. Harbhajan
    10. Praveen Kumar
    11. R P Singh

    Its a pretty balanced side.
Irfan/Bhaji/Praveen are no mug with the bat.
Yusuf/R Jadeja / Yuvraj are no mug with the ball.

    Reason for not picking
ZaK: Not sure how fit is he.
Ishant: Had a terrible outing at IPL 2009.

Rohit Sharma will be the default choice. R.Jadeja can fill in some spots in case of some injuries.

Count Raina in this list first. Probably you just forgot

He will definitely be in the starting 11, unless there are any injuries. His performance was not bad in IPL, It was the team which played bad as a whole.

The concerns which i expressed earlier are coming true.

Zaheer and Sehwag were injured today. Yuvi is suffering from food poisoning. In warm up matches, 13 players are allowed in a team. Dhoni wanted to play 13, but we had only 12 fit players. This situation is really bad. I just hope that all our 15 players get fit before the start of the main matches.

B.t.w, next warm up match for India is against Pakistan on Wednesday. It will be a good contest.

Last time when we lost to kiwis, the winning margin was either 9 or 10 runs (To lazy to check cricinfo)... This time also it's 9..So we're going good

but it wasnt a warm up match. but, i would like india to win the next match against PAKistan.

Remember: India never lost to pakistan in any major tournament till date.

World cup, Champions league, t20 world cup.

We need to keep this record for years to come. Though warm up matches are not counted, still it will be an important match

A true professional team is one which don't take any match lightly ; either be it a practice match or a warm up match or a international match. & Australia & South Africa showed that. They showed the intensity to perform.

On the other side the Men in Blue were just relaxing. Just from their body language one could feel that they were taking this warm up match very seriously. The last 2 overs costed Indians 31 runs. It was some poor bowling. 2/3 catches were dropped. Even the chasing was very good but once Raina got dismissed, the patans & jadeja couldn't continue the momentum. In the 17th & 18th over only 2 & 4 runs were scored respectively.

If the Men in Blue want to defend the cup then they need to play some real good cricket. The Aussies, Proteus & the Black Caps are looking good. It won't be a calk walk for the Men In Blue.

I back the Aussies, Proteus & the Men in Blue to lift the cup...

oh yes .....India vs PAk......any match....a freindly, warm up or finals......has to b won by INDIA .....no 2nd thoughts on it...n i am hoping thy win tht too....

    btw when is the scheduled?
Dont count wat u lost, cherish wat u ve & plan wat to gain...coz past neva returns but future may return the lost! Think-Decide-Act!!!!
