Idea cup ODIs are going in an interesting way. If you misssed, let me remind you that Srilanka won all 3 matches and lead the points tally. Today Srilanka won the toss and elected to bat first. They lost quick wickets first one on the 4 th ball.

Fall of wickets is U Tharanga (0-1, 0.4), T Dilshan (42-2, 5.3), M Jayawardene (60-3, 9.1), T Samaraweera (61-4, 10.2). Srilanka was restricted to 213 all out. Sangakkara and Randiv score half centuries.

India managed to win easily by 8 wickets with 17 overs to spare. Splendid half centuries by Gambir and Kohli. Another good innings by Karthik who was unfortunate to get out at 48.
