Commonwealth Games 2010 :Delhi is disastrously behind time

Do you think Delhi will be ready in time to host the Commonwealth games ?? Roads and airports are not upto mark, open drains, traffic jams, metro mishaps, security concerns…….........etc etc!! will Delhi be able to host the games and if it does will it be less than a fiasco ??

As for me I think we should stop thinking about hosting the games. Get a reality check , everything is in a total mess hosting the games will only bring shame on our country!!!!
I mean we knew we were to host the games atleast about 7 years back so well what were we doing till now ? Look at the Chinese they hosted the 2008 Olympics with utmost grace and how? Their venues were ready way before the Olympics was held. Yeah it is true though India is making waves all over the world we as a country are just not dedicated or co-operative enough to pull off an event of this scale.
India is running very late but still, well still can I mention how Lalit Modi rescheduled the IPL-2 in a very short span and it was a huge success. So we can still be positive about hosting it but for that we need great dedication, superior planning, good leadership and a lot of co-operation otherwise the pride of our nation is at stake and time is very less.

But well IPL was cricket and this is India a cricket frenzy country. were sports is synonymous to cricket and so commonwealth games in India may well remain a dream.............

There is no going back now ! I guess we have to face the fact that we have less time and rather come up with innovative ways to help out !

One interesting find is that the Delhi Commonwealth has started a special online lottery. 12 states have have started it and this will go on for 23 months. Pretty neat ! This will raise about 500 crores.

World cup is also going to happen this year. But I think we are under prepared.
