Default Nimbus renewed the contract for 20 Billion rupees!!!

One of the largest media firm has renewed its contract with India for almost 20 billion rupees. The contract suggests that Nimbus will continue the telecast for all the domestic as well as International cricket matches of India of next four years!

For paying $436 million, Nimbus has got rights to telecast atleast minimum of 64 international matches until March 2014.

In my opinion, Nimbus have not got this right. They have paid too much money for nothing.

    - They have the rights to BCCI matches played in India, Srilanka (not sure?) and Bangladesh only
    - They do not have the rights to World Cup '11, IPL 3, or any of the ICC world fixtures (such as Champions Trophy) played in India - these are the major money spinners
    - Prasar Bharati (DD) continues to have parallel telecasting rights for ODI's and T20's - which is where money lies
