All entries will be listed in a thread and when ever some one makes an entry they can post in the contest thread that they have written an article and so and so is the URL.

The number of views is something which cannot be manupilated so easily.. Having a poll will not be an option ad no1 it can be gamed and also there may be more then 15-20 entries in a given week so it wont be feasable.

or maybe you could just give a prize or something for ppl who cross a certain amount of posts... not necessary is a big prize, but just like an appreciation.

but not like 10,000 posts or something, but something more realistic.
that might mean some ppl aldready qualify for it. but thats ok, that way everyones happy and its like a gift for being loyal to the forum.

Ive spent a lot of hours researching around and looking around in forums where they had contests and stuff at one point... they all tend to shut shop sooner or later.

Having post count or reps and all that as criteria is not an option as it would just generate more and more spam.

I guess we should keep this place clear of any sort of contests and all that to keep this place as clean as it is now...

I am hoping that I wont get stoned for this ... I am working on something different now but it wont involve any input from any members... I hope this wont cause too much disappointment.

nothin big, maybe just a goody bag with a Tee-shirt (customized which can also act as advertisement for the forum, maybe with IBF printed at the end ..that'll be like IBM..lol

)

and maybe you know some other small small useful things in it too...
