Thread: New Computers section : major flop?

I was just wondering that is this new section : http://www.indiabroadband.net/#computers a major flop or am I jumping onto conclusions too early?

I never see anyone viewing any of the sections there...

Is there anything we can do to improve it? Leather seats may be? or sorround sound?
Throw in a few bar dancers from Mumbai may be??

Suggestions please

My suggestion to improve the section is posting Tutorials (windows,photoshop, webdesigning etc) and more Step by step guides like the one gauviz posted.

admin even i love this section and trust me we need to wait for some more time to see guests and number of members in this section.
I am sure very soon this section will come up as main attraction

I wholeheartedly agreeeeeeee on this point.

It is not a flop but is not much of a success either.

Much as I love all those jokes, I would encourage posting in other sections too. I am not saying that jokes should not be posted. I also post jokes/off-topic threads here and then. But jokes and off-topic form 80% of the posting nowadays - a joke followed by "I like that" kind of post.

If this continues, forum will deviate from the main purpose and will become a site meant for laughter. Now I can promise you that there are lots of other sites that are dedicated to laughter/jokes and are much better than us at their own stuff. Our main traffic (new members) come to us because we provide excellent solutions.

We also know that there are not more than 40~45 active members who post regularly. So all active members should take more responsibility in contributing at least two-three meaningfull articles each day. That will attract us more traffic, get better google ratings, etc. Otherwise we will simply end up creating a huge offtopic section and patting each other on good jokes posted. I am sure that each and everyone of us have some speciality in some field. Let us hear your expertise. No need to be shy and feel intimidated.

No offence meant to anyone. Just my 2 cents. BTW, please keep the jokes but participate elsewhere too.

I don't think it's a flop but finally everything depends on the quality of threads, you know!

Actually, what I meant to write was 2~3 meaningful article per week not per day.

Per day would be quite challenging.

I agree here and will give my time on tech section to write some useful and meaningful articles, i can say about 2~3 articles in a week

ya even i was watching this.. there are lot many crap useless threads on ... like thanking each other for completing no of posts.. jokes.. and all... tht all its ok but now a days ppl use these topics for displaying more no of posts posted.. thts what i feel.. admin should do somethin abt it..

regarding about softwares and solutions.. i agree.. ppl needs tips n triks.. solutions and tutorials..

one thing i would like to add... we can add some software downloads.. i know adming not going to agree.. in tht.. but now a days.. ppl come for tht.. basically.. tht will heat our site to much more extent i feel..

@vishnu.. ppl now a days keep posting anythin and everythin crap... just to increase their nos of posts and going to highet posts member and all..


i think tht sections of jokes and all other thing for time pass.. posts shuld not be calculated... shud give it a try and see... wats the difference.. and where is the admin now.. this is a serious topic... he he he...jaab kaam ki baat aye.. tab santa kukdi nai khelte.. chalo admin.. be a goood boy.. he he he.. just kiddin hope u dont mind..

For example, If I'm allowed to post only a single thread per day in that section... I won't be creating a new thread for each joke I've... Reduction in no. of threads in that section will help to reduce the quantity & increase the quality...
