    Unhappy New sub forum for Tutorials.

    I think we need a new sub forum in computer section just for posting Tutorials. A section where we can post Tutorials and Step by Step Guides of using Software & Operating system etc. I am sure that will also help the computer section.

    • Audio editing

    • Video editing

    • Graphics

    • Software tutorials(Photoshop, Flash, illustraton, Gimp etc)

    • Web Design & Development(Designing, Programing etc)

    • etc, etc, etc

    What is your thoughts ?

    I have some limited knowledge about Video - capturing, making DVDs from home video, backing up DVDs, making a VCD, etc. But I am not an expert. However I can help a bit. Do we have people others who can also contribute?

    On a side note, don't we have too many sections? Having so many sections could make the forum cluttered. We could also vote if some sections could be eliminated or better still merged.

    I am suggesting merge all computer related forums into one forum (Computers):

    - Merge Web hosting & Web Hosting Offers into one sub-forum Web hosting
    - Merge Voice over IP, Teleconferencing, Video conferencing into Internet Telephony

    Look at sections that do not have much interest generated.

    ya merging will do the stuff right.. even i am many times confused.. so many sub forums.... do it kixxi.. i dont any one of us will have any problem in it...

    has anyone any problem if kixxi merge those sub forums?



    regarding tutorials.... i guess no one has noticed.. i have posted many of them.. today itself some three or four.. i keep searching on internet for such stuff ,, so tht to serve it to BB users.. lets see how much ppl find it interesting..

    I cannot merge forums - only admin can. Also if there are important topics in these forums which score heavily in Google, then admin will not merge those forums.

    But I have certain doubts. We do have capable persons on this forums who can write guides. But do we have experts in the fields mentioned in post # 1?

    And about "merging sub forums" I don't think that's a good idea. I think the sub forums are what keeping this forum clean and easy to navigate.
