About LinkBackscommon guys...admin started a thread where he asked us for the prizes in poll which included LCD, playstations, Xboxs, Ipods, Refrigerator...

that was for the contest though, this is for promotion!
yeah, giving away Lcds, xbox, Refrigerators for PROMOTION is still considered tooooo much by many.
in that respect, Bill Gates would have to give away Hilton Resorts to promote winVista. :lol:
I think thats why Admin came down to cash prizes!
I think many people may not have participated in the contest that it may be a scam and they wont get the prize money, but its not like that at all! Its genuine and maybe people need to be made aware of this. (this is totally off topic)
I think everyone who has their own site, should have a link to IndiaBroadband.net, which will make a lot of difference!

I wanna pitch in with another idea... New year is around the corner... Admin can print next year's calenders and distribute them... From small wallet size Calenders to desktop callender to wall hanging calenders! All sizes... Everywhere around the colleges and workplaces especially BPOs... I guess BPO ones are helpful a lot... So, they naturally like the concept of this forum...

Another idea would be to design a proper Logo , graphic image , slogan for our website , and this can also included as our new year contest !
And the winner's logo can be made available on the website so that we can print it out on T-shirts as well...
hey what about printing our forum name in key chain.
it will be like indiabroadband.net accessories.
all the users must use the accessories.
we can even distribute to our friends and colleagues.

Thanks everybody... As admin stated before that hez planning on pamphlets... I guess pamphlets are not that worthwhile... cuz most of the guys just throw the pamphlets without even reading the content!
On contrary, everyone will keep the calenders in their wallet or on their office desk, or hang on the wall at their home... Throughout the Year!

Admin if i may suggest we should start designing a Logo first for IBF ! ..... it ll make the forum more professional ..... People recognize visual logos better than names right !

Will it be ok to embed you tube video tutorials for solutions which are complex or already solved ? It will be more appealing to users and very straight forward.
But ofcourse the problem of moderating the content is the biggest drawback. What do you ppl think abt this..
