I have just added this thing : iSpy

Please have a look at it for 5-10 mins and see if you like it I will put a link to that page on the forum if you guys like it.

On this page you wont have to refresh the page for new posts ... they will keep appearing instantly as they are made on the forum... it will carry info like if you have posted in that thread or not and also if it a new post or a new thread.

You can pause it as well by hitting the pause icon on the top right.

Its old stuff, been there for ages..

The reason you wont see on many forums is that it takes up lot of resources and not many forums are hosted on dedicated servers or can spare resources.

Our forum has a core2 duo 9300 processor with 8gb ram and 2000 gb monthly data to push out so we can afford to use this mod.

It doesnt make sense to have this mod on forums where you get less then 1 post per min... and we have now started getting 1 post ever min or two mins some times.

one query bout that feature......the view subscribed threads only feature was not working for me........how can we use it...???... i tried for that thing in all ways......

we can also check last 25 posts from the bottom of this page....but it wont get refreshed automatically.......

PS: spammers can take this as a gift..........

I have voted "Yes" but I have some reservations particularly for admin. Since a contest is running now, some member are posting like mad. I am assuming that "contest ke baad ye sab antardhyaan ho jayenge".

So will we need it during normal times?

its a good feature......and if the forum has so much of resourses y not use it.....

it will help regular members also....
