Thread: why mod allowed for this.......???

the rules for picture uploads in our albums are like these

Picture Limits

Maximum File Size per Picture 97.7 KB
Maximum Picture Dimensions 600 by 600 Pixels

BUT in the album of our own mod just4kix the pictures are crossing the limits.......check this picture.......

the picture properties are here........

Dimensions 1024px × 543px


is there any rule book for mods.......???

At all forums, higher user classes get better features.

no it was not mentioned in our site rules.........

This is a very genuine topic.we will take it to the highest courts of law

Amit do you realise he has actually got more posts then I have and has got more reps power then I have ?

Infact he is the one who really runs this place..

Having said that I didint realise that the quota was set that low for regular members I will have a look into this for you.

as well as i know the post counts wont matter.....but if u said that he is the one than its ok with me that he is the one.........

i guess u need to update the FAQs section..............

LOL. What do you mean exactly?

The limits were created because at that we used to be full of spammed advertisements. And admin was the lone person managing the show.

I asked for special permissions from time to time. And not just for albums and pictures. I joined on Dec-20, 2007 and one of my earliest post was this one:

Setup of ADSL Modem/Router UT-300R2U with Linksys Wireless Router WRT54G

As a newbie, I could not upload such a large attachment. So I sent it to admin. Later on I started creating more guides. And everytime I had to disturb admin to upload large attachment. I requested admin to increase attachment size limit and maybe he was tired of my bugging (), but he increased the limit.

But the point is, I earned the trust. Over the last year or so many others have "made their bones" for the family.

So to amitkool21, please be with us for a long time. You will also get rights and permissions. Think beyond petty issues like "uski kameez meri kameez se safed kaise?".

There are 2 mods and one admin on this forum... who have the absolute right to do few things which are in the interest of the forum... They have earned it through their hard work! and we should have faith in them...
