offtopic: How can one check who has given rep in User CP
offtopic: How can one check who has given rep in User CP
The first two posts were hived off from another thread.
You can check the reputations given in User CP. At the bottom, it will list last 20 reputations received.
i think he is asking whether it is possible to know who gave the reputations! that is not possible unless the user mentions his name in the comment with the rep.![]()
Well creating another thread seemed foolish to me. I though that everyone would be knowing this, but surprised to know that not many are aware.some guts posting off topic in a moderator's thread!
by the way u can't check that.
Anyways here is a screenshot and I was unable to locate the link you'll are referring to.

thats because u dont have any reps.
this is the page where reps show up (in the blank space in ur screenshot). for normal users, its not shown who the reps were given by unless the person writes it down in his comment.
n what makes u think not many are aware of this! every1 has told u quite the same thing, which i told u right away?!

To view links or images in signatures your post count must be 100 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.
it would be greaat if everyone had that feature...![]()
That is nothing to do with being a moderator. I am not sure - but I thought the User CP page layout is same for all. Can you post your User CP reps screenshot?
Offtopic posts in important threads are not permited. It dilutes the thread importance and the main topic goes haywire.

Well starrynight why are you feeling offended. You said you can't check that but care to read what just4kix said after that. Also there is 1 rep you can see but I have no idea whether every user has a rep by default.
Ok friend point noted.Offtopic posts in important threads are not permitted. It dilutes the thread importance and the main topic goes haywire.
Anyways as I can see a rep in my avatar but not sure if it by default. If such is the case then my case is solved.
OK. OK. I have given you a rep for the previous post (quoted here). Here are some explainations on the reputations system:
Reputations: These are reps recieved from other members. You can check the last 20 reputations received in the User CP.
Reputation points total: The sum total of reputation points received. Each user has her/his own rep power.
Rep Power: This is your own reputation power. It is displayed in the user panel of every post. When you or any user gives a reuptation to another user, the receipient user's points increase by the amount of donor's rep power. For example, my rep power is 8. I just gave you a rep. You now have one more reputation and your total points have increased by 8.
Rep Power build-up: A new user starts with rep power = 0. So even if s/he gives a reputation to someone, the receipient will see a rep received but her/his points will remain same. When a new user reaches 15 posts, the rep power changes to 1. So now that user's rep given to other counts as +1 points to the receipient. The rep power build-up is a complex formula devised on her/his own rep points plus the number of posts.

Sorry my bad, should've read those instructions beforehand. So that one rep showing is the one I recieved when I reached 15 posts. And yes I can see the test rep in my account Thanks a lot sir![]()
