Suggestion to reduce the redundant threads

I have a suggestion which can help us in reducing the redundant threads.

This is the current setup when we start a new thread.

When we enter the tittle, in the tittle field, the list of similar fields can be populated in between the "Title" & "Message". Something like the one below:

We can have notice in between the "Title" & "Message" something like this

Notice: When you enter a thread title the system will search for similar threads which have already been posted. That should help you to find answers.

So the initial set can be like the one below:

Default Add-on ~ Re: Suggestion to reduce the redundant threads

This can really come out to be useful.

The add-on is said to grab the thread title the user typed in and it will load a small box (using Ajax magic) with 5 similar threads (Rameshjeee has already provided a snapshot of the box) just like the 'similar threads' function that you can normally find under an already posted thread.

You can find all the details of the add-on here : Check for similar thread before posting a new one

All the details are well represented there (of-course they have to be).

And, there is yet another add-on which serves the same function. But, I found that the first one (the one to which I have already provided link) is better than this one : Check If Already Posted

I referred to the second one just because it may be felt to be better by some. Anyway, the first one is best rated (and above all, I like it better). And, if I am right, the second add-on takes one to another page (maybe a pop-up), which is similar to our usual Search page.

There is no need for me to talk more about them because everyone can find all their details in the links mentioned above.
