To put a bar on spam and games- Games Thread

A Forum games section would be a nice place to start for would be spammers. I have amassed more than 8000 posts while posting on a couple of PC game related forums. It is a great way to make friends and make noobs feel at ease.

One rule you can implement is: You can not post until atleast two people have replied after you have posted.

For example: person A posts. Than person B posts. Now person A can not post until person C has posted after Person B.

Naturally this rule is not applicable for important tech threads. But for all game threads you can implement the above rule to reduce spam.

But there will be cases when person A is asking for something/general chatting to Person B, and Person B is waiting Person C to reply (who is out to lunch) so that Person B can Reply to Person A

Yes, you are ofcourse right about that, and we cannot ever have such a rule because.....there are many reasons.

Personally, I do not like people spending so much time on computer games. I am the last advocator of "all work, no play", but stick to outdoor games. So I am voting for the "Yard".

And yes, yard is the trash can of the forum.

I am sorry if my opinion sounds harsh. But I do have a decidely singular opinion on this topic. I am not saying people should stop playing games but I see people addicted to them and that's bad (if not terrible).

And it will require some positive sinister dexterity to change my stance.

I also don't like much going around sometimes posting for no use, and I have really repented lots of times for being like that, and by the way, it's a common thing that goes on with most of the youth. But, I believe that it is better atleast to understand that one's own future may be at stake due to this.

Actually you are the ones who could spend time on it, as people who are working will not be much affected by it as a student would be. But, ofcourse every man in this world is always a student.

But, there are still some good points behind everything, but it might be mostly less valuable for a student as far as his future in the present situations in the world is concerned.
