To put a bar on spam and games- Games Thread

Hi Everyone

As we are getting number of games threads on forum which is affecting our tech discussions so need to look for an alternative for the same. I have suggested the idea of a different section named as Games Section where we can create/ move all these threads to keep the forum clean. What do you guys think about it please participate in poll and leave your comments here.

Apart from this i request all of you not to chat/talk in tech threads as it can annoy guests.

If you people got any other suggestions then please post here, meanwhile i am moving all games threads to yard, i hope you will not mind checking those threads in yard

You can participate and post in games threads as normal without any issues but as some of the members are not happy with it so need to take care of everyone emotions

A separate section, in the same lines as LOUNGE, would be more appropriate

yep yard is the best choice according to me as not a single member will be affected if its been cleaned... and Admin also will be happy to remove the junk....

I also think yard is the perfect area to play such game.
So possible Game section can create but it can also help more spam post.

how about a spam section ???

a separate games or fun section will be appropriate. we dont want to loose these game threads. and the only sticky thread in yard reads this : "Warning: All posts in this section will be deleted some day " ... are these game threads going to be deleted?

moving to yard is not at all a issue, but deleting the threads will gonna be issue, it will better to move these threads to the gaming section if and only if all the threads in yard needs to be deleted

Let me explain some of my views taking into view, the views of different kinds of members.

1) But, I (We) do understand that there are some may not like seeing "Gaming posts" (because we cannot actually call them SPAM), and therefore the need for at-least a separate section is essential. Moving such threads/posts to the "Yard" (or any other new section, preferably under "Lounge") will be the best thing that can be done (<--my opinion).

2) There are still lots of members in the forum, so dear that they are still here because of the human bonds that we have in here. As most of us might already be aware, our forum is still growing. Many big forums in the internet have their roots bound tightly to the earth with such human bond, which are stronger than anything else (its just next to (or above) ingenuity). So, the 2nd potion in the poll won't be an option for me.

3) There is one another group which I would not like to talk about. But, we should look into it soon or later (for IBB's good).
