I am creating this thread so that we all can help moderators in some of the basic and daily tasks which often gets overlooked. Like:

1) Quite often while discussing something we post some information in threads which should belong to a more appropriate already existing thread.

Like: Posts #17 onwards in http://www.indiabroadband.net/bsnl-b...tml#post154341 (What is telnet?) can be moved to this http://www.indiabroadband.net/sugges...-settings.html (vBulletin Reputation Settings)

2) Threads mistakenly posted in wrong sections.

Like: http://www.indiabroadband.net/comput...es-laptop.html can be moved to the laptops section

We often leave messages in the thread itself when we notice such stuff like:

@mods plz move this thread to .....

But, very often such posts go unnoticed.


If, all such things noticed by normal users can be posted in one place, i.e, here - it will help the moderators a lot. Mods can take a look at this thread daily and make the necessary changes.

3) When someone creates a thread with a title having some errors/spelling mistakes, He can just request the mods to change it by mentioning it here.

4) There are more such minor things which happen regularly and needs mods' attention. I cannot think of any more now.


Yaa, I know the post report option is there - but these(above mentioned points) cannot be reported each time as there is nothing wrong or against the rules. Reporting is useful when you notice something wrong like Spamming/Advertising etc.

I hope this Idea makes Sense. So, post such minor issues here. This thread can be made sticky for the convinience of moderators. Keep your requests short and simple:

Just Like: Plz move this thread to this section.

6. reduce the time gap between reporting posts , right now its 15000 seconds. (250 min, 4.16 hrs) . and just today we had 3 different spammers.
