Thread: A helpdesk?

How come we don't have a separate place that is clearly named a Helpdesk?

Can you be a bit more elaborate. The entire forum is about helping.

Yes of course, but most forums have a general helpdesk. Now I wanted to ask a question about Speech recognition softwares, whether anyone has tried any out and works for Indians, and whether the one in Vista is good, but I don't know where to post it - Desktop Computer? But most of the questions there are hardware related.

It is not possible to have separate sections for each and every thing related to computers. Try to find the most suitable section and post your query there. You will get proper answers. If the thread is not in the proper section, mods will move it to the most appropriate section.
