Many do not bother to register for viewing one or two threads. It will help us avoid the traffic diverted to other sites. We have many tempting threads, they will register to answer if come across any.
its not so difficult anyways, jus disabling IBf's cookie will have the same effect !
Are unregistered users allowed to see all pictures ?
I strongly feel that compelling one to post by banning for not posting will be too harsh. It is better to be silent than write anything silly. Sharing of knowledge is good and alright and I believe in that too. You can consider banning if one does not post for a longer period like say 1 year or more. All cannot be players and many are comfortable to be watchers. I prefer to be a watcher and I shall definitely post when I am required and feel comfortable in the topic.

Just found thisHi Unregistered , We have noticed that you have never posted anything on the forum... do you realise that the content you read here is posted by people like you who believe in spreading the knowledge. Please post something in the threads of your interest or may be open a new thread with your query in an appropriate section. Failing to post anything for some more time will result in a permanent ban from this website.ThanksAdmin
yes its been from some time now, even a few members have pm'ed me to ask whats this ? and is Admin really going to ban them.
How can admin ban unregistered users?![]()
good question onllly Admin can ans it![]()
What I said was that (regardless of the message posted above), no one has been banned because of zero posts, inactivity etc.
I know this because I can see the list of banned users.
Whether id's have been automatically deleted, I cannot say - but on the whole I do not think that, that is the case too.

Is it possible to make the list of banned users public?
I was asking it to be made permanently public but there should not be any visible links on any page.
it would be good if you could just enter a correct url to see the page, that way new members won't wander off to the ban logs.
You guys are taking it wrong... that message about id will be deleted and all only applies to those who have zero number of posts ...
If some one has an id and has only made 1 post in the last 4 years well his/her id will not be touched... we have menbers from 2006 who have never posted anything and just never came back... so I am planning to prune the members list and only have those members who have got atleast 1 post to their credit and those who are more then 6 months old members and still do not have a post will get deleted...
Is it not fair enough? If you disagree please shout and we can talk about this![]()
I think the policy to disable membership for long dormant members (membership more than 365 days, zero posts) is fair.
Nothing more will be heard on this.
The central committee of the Soviet union has felt and come up to this decision that banned users list must be made public by the General Secretary, State duma, and Supreme Soviet. And that the Premier should post the report based on it.![]()

I have one more Q: what about people with more than one profile? Most forums don't allow more than one a/c per person. what is the general policy on this forum about that?
