Default Vote: would you like to have a programming section in IBF ?

While i was getting my doubts about java programming cleared , some members expressed interest about having a separate programming section.
So i thought it would be nice to get know everyone's opinion.

Would you like to have a programming section in IBF ?

I would like this forum to have section on programming & related fields like scripting, sircuit simulation e.t.c.

As I see we have many people with know how of programming. We can create some interesting threads on them. Current method of posting in the OS section is wrong as Programming field is not only related to OS. Also this section can include all type of programming like embedded systems & above mentioned fields.

At first we might have slow response to this section but eventually we will hopefully get enough users in them. Also this section had capability to create new base. we will get new type of users having technical knowhow in other fields

PS: I was my self creating a thread on this now but NPU beat me to it.
History is on the move,my friends. Those who cannot keep up will be left behind, to watch from distance. And those who stand in its way will not watch at all.http://windows7sins.org/
People are going to tell stories about me none of which change who I really am.

Yes, we can have a education/tutorial section. Where we can discuss about all programming languages.

I voted yes, as long as people don't use this forum to get solutions to
    their homework problems

Check the total posts every day and
see the percentage of posts in technical forums,
which shows most users are NON technical
and like to visit other forums subjects .
    2.
Check the response in the companion website
    http://www.broadbandforum.co.in
    having only technical forums !
    3.
Suggest: computer/savvy users visit this site
    and discuss programming problems .
and a link may be given here in this forum.

Essbebe's suggestion is not without merits.

I sometimes feel that there are too many sections here.

I can't find any section on programming & related things there.

Then you can leave section under sub mods or some users which are not prejudiced. Also joke section can be removed as it is useless.

I am being called as having shallow thinking as I have favour this section in comparison to a wholly different section which is not related to this forum. Is it a shallow thinking. Is admin having shallow thinking when he suggested that we should concentrate more on tech topics?

We don't need a section just for programing. But it would be nice to have a education/tutorial (or similar) section like Remeshjee's suggestion. There are lot's of members here good with animation, photoshop etc.

Yes , it would also be good but it is not going to attract people with technical know how of programming , scripting & embeded systems like modems .

I think it will attract people if there are good topics and active. Besides the name doesn't have to be Tutorial or Education, just something similar. But it should connect it all.
