I think, some VBulletin mods need to be applied to show extra user details.

    Yes.
Even your request to members to indicate their
location is ignored by many members. or
location like " Nowhere" this Earth" etc used.
And when an offer is made by Kolkatta Bsnl
only for WB , spate of queries are posted.

Showing Location , OS used ,
and modem router details in profile
saves time and energy for contributers.

The fields Location,Plan & ISP must be mandatory. Otherwise there's no use of implementing it.

    Age is
    Optional in userCP also.
Some may not like their age to be
divulged here , for personal reasons.

Once this suggestion is implemented, how do we make sure that everybody has entered these 2 datas (ISP PLan & Modem).

I am sorry I won't be providing age, location and ISP.
Don't worry I won't be asking ISP related tech questions.
    thanks

Adding modem details is a good idea.

I cant understand the need of including Modem details.. i mean what will you do with this??

now presently i am on my Nokia 3110c, so will i write it Nokia 3110c Obex Modem???

    this sounds ridiculous..

Modem details could be useful if someone asks a problem and forgets to mention modem details. Anyway, there is no problem in displaying harmless details.

Ya its a good choice but i dont think it was nessacery.. I felt that we are copying from other forums . I dont wish this forum to copy from others but I want others to copy from us.

Admin will have to make certain changes so that new profile details can be published under the username of each post.
