Thread: Make money by writing articles

Here are a few rules which need to be taken care of :

1) The article has to be 300+ words
2) The article should not be copied from anywhere and has to be written in your own language.
3) The article once submitted should not be used anywhere else including your own site or blog.
4) Your article will be checked for quality to be accepted before it is added to your account.
5) Articles need to be sent to this e-mail address : ibfarticles@gmail.com and also send a link to your forum id. You also need to mention how many articles you have sent before and write a grand total along with how much do you get paid for each article as per the slab.

6) Articles need to be in English language.

Payments :

Payment will be made via paypal.

Minimum amount you have to have in your account is Rs 2000.

If you want your payments into you bank account (icici) the minimum amount is Rs 5000 (the only reason for this is that I dont wanna be running to the bank every single day to deposit your money)

The payments per article is going to be according to the number of posts you have on the forum www.indiabroadband.net

0-1000 posts - You will get paid Rs40 per article.

1000-5000 posts - You will get paid Rs50 per article.

5000-10000 posts - You will get paid Rs60 per article.



There is no hard and fast limit on how many articles each member can send but there is a budget of Rs 3000 per day for now so about 90k a month is allocated for this purpose.. If we get more entries then that in a given month we would have to put an upper cieling on how many articles can be sent by each member.

The articles can be a review of a gadget, appliance, service, product related to technology... DTH, mobile services and so on.
You can also write about new technologies and advancements and stuff like that..

You can also submit news items as long as it is written entirely in your own words and includes some good material.

Apart from what I have mentioned above you have a query please post in this thread and it will be answered promptly.

No "offtopic" stuff in this thread please.

I hope you guys make a lot of money in the long run.



PS: These are basic terms and cond but can be ammended at any time without notice but all the articles submitted before any changes take place will have these terms applicable on them.

What about copyright? Would I be able to use that article in a book.

Can we modify the payment part a bit ? Instead of minimum payout, we can have payment being made every week OR 2 week OR month according to your convinience.

Reason: even if a person wins the contest every single day , it will take a minimum of 50 days !!

Its going to very diffucult for such a situation to occour IMHO. Since the purpose of money as prize here is as a motivation factor, i don't think it will make a difference in the present method.

I dont understand your point... why would it take 50 days?

You can reach the minimum payment threshold within a day by sending 2k worth of articles provided you meet the requirements..

Please go through the first post again... There is nothing to win... its simple you send an article and you get paid for it.. You probbably misunderstood it..

What are the topic cateogries? As in do you have a set number of topics in which the article should be or can the article be on any topic?

You have mentioned gadget etc, so do you want it to be technology focused or are you also looking at movie reviews etc which open a complete different topic levels

The topics are mentioned in the first post already and no it doesn't include movies and sports.

Thanks for the prompt arrangement.

I too think payment once a month or fortnight will be nice. Say every 5th of each month so that you can settle the payments in one go. Please consider.

How will we know if an article is rejected.

First of all apologies for not posting anything so far. Well i was a bit busy with studies so i was not able to take the time to do it.

I'll be participating in this context and I'll write about a new technology that we can implement. I'll post it and send it over to the admin

Can you please justify why one would still want to write @ 40/50/60 for indiabroadband and not submit it to ?

I will be writing out of loyalty to this forum. This forum is much better & what you have mention is a blog. This forum is greater than that.

I want my articles to be read not to just earn money. I will like to retain copyright of them.

You should rethink about this point. I mean if IBF User post it on his site or blog and pingback and mention in their site or blog that particular post has already been posted on IBF. There is nothing wrong in it.

Just wanted to know if i could write about a new technology that is not written about in the forum. I have something in mind that can make things interesting, but i am not sure of the acceptance.

Secondly is there a way we know you know what the count till day is, what payments have been dispatched etc. Basically stats is all i am asking, a kinda Tally.

Could you Load a small Tutorial / screenshots demonstrating the whole process including Payment. I guess most of the Enthusiast writers aren't aware of the way this is done. On the second hand i might learn a think or two. What do u say admin?

I have just been a new comer and i have watched both your threads.

Just some minor queries
1. the email address to send the articles is given and the number of words for the post.
i wanted to know just that if i write on some topic and its a possibility that the other person also can write on similar lines too may be the same topic in that case what method are you going to use.

2. and also that can i submit the new technologies that are coming up and some new trends and gadgets which have yet to come in the indian market but are damn sexy with the top notch features.

Do reply my 2 queries and then i will be able to add on to the resources better. u can count me in for the entries for articles after the questions are answered.
