|  IBF Instant messenger I thought may be Admin should integrate an instant messenger with this forum . Which allows us to im with select users (a friend's list maybe) .... available only to registered users ->It will reduce spam discussion posts ->Encourage people to register ->increase rapport between active members ,thus encouraging more users to become active and will help in increasing IBF's community size opinions invited Pls vote in the poll |

| yes, i agree. Has'nt this been suggested over and over again, that , we need a shoutbox. Everyone's already in favour of this, only that admin has to approve it. |

| We dont want ppl to stop posting in our threads and move over completely to some other form of communication A facebook style im ->Will be easy to access (may be at the bottom) like FB itself ..... while u can still browse a thread ->allow you access to only a select no of friends (based on invites maybe) so you still keep posting articles ->be really quick ...not having to wait foe a page to refresh everytime to see a reply |

Rep Power: 12 | And server resources are not a matter of concern... anything to keep you lot happy An auto refresh sort of shout box that you might have seen before on the massive forum I used to rum "back untill 2005" is a resource killer and will be too heavy on those who have a limited bandwidth connection... By the way how many of you are from the "old" forum? do you remember the shout box we used to have there? |

| maybe we can even have a small toolbar or an applet that the user downloads .... a mini IBF messenger that integrates into the web browser ... would it make it easier ? ... uses the same user name and password |
