I don't think anyone does that in IBF ! only during contests it was misused to increase post count.

Guys, my quandry is like this.

I have no personal issues with multiple id's. I found fun in interacting with Punch Bala in particular. Masala Dosa and Endless Sky also had their moments.

The issue I am facing is that some people have been sent to exile and they created other id's and sneaked back in. This defeats the purpose. Now If I ban such id's I will be asked why.

So if someone can solve this problem or suggest a workaround, I will be glad.

Give the reason why you are sending some to exile. I will go to it peacefully if I am one.
And yes what should I not do when I have been come again. See I have stop posting SW now after the ban.

All those that are known multiple id's, without exception, will be banned.

As I said, Admin can merge the posts from one id into another id.

You can use some recognition software I think if a person have posted enough to identify the ids.

@ kix you have said that it is some error. I want to know that what should I do to prevent this again. I will be stop using this id from 12 o'clock. i am sending reqeust to admin to merge the thread to that my main id.

Isn't it simple to tell users that since they have broken the forum rules, they have to suffer the punishment.

also you can say that if some user is banned then it will be reflected in all his profiles.

Please farce, let punch bala remain as it is, everybody is having fun.

I am prepared to go to exile. I think some user want that I don't express my views on things. I try to never again post my views ever. I will post only in tech threads & some which I like but are not related to exiles. If anybody wants more he can pm me.

In fact I am going today but first I want a reply to a pm from some one close to me here. it is not related to any debate. Please give me time till 12 O'clock.

Please don't stop multiple ids system for me. I like some of the ids of others . But you can merge my ids.

Generally on most forums the admins/mods do not allow duplicates. Our forum has a sizeable membership and decent amount of posts but it is not huge. And we have only 40 odd regulars.

So we do not need to be intolerant.

@Luke, please merge all your posts with your other id. You have been sent to exile because you have an irritating habit of trolling (or rather posting) on every thread even when not required (http://www.indiabroadband.net/showthread.php?p=217746)

Your exile will be lifted soon. But please do not post only to increase post count.

O.K. understood. But how long am I going to exile. Also there is some one who is very close to me. She will probably reply to my pm. Then I will go to exile. Please merge my posts then. I consider her like my sister. I don't have one.
Can I write threads on tech while on exile or visit while I am gone.
