Thread: Include O.S in new profile registration page.

I have this suggestion, for the admin.

Many a times in the forum , there are the guys who cannot run a program told by someone else, because indeed their O.Ss were different.

I have this suggestion to you, to include O.S to be filled in profile, so that it would be easier to determine.

Just like you included modem name and router info in the profiling.




p.s: more better replies will definitely add to your revenue. :thumbup1:

But most people have multiple operating system installed in their computer or sometimes the question might be about a friends computer etc.

If people need working solutions, they should provide accurate information in simple words which everyone could understand (I have also posted such confusing posts ).

PS, And another suggestion I have is to replace unimportant details in the mini profile (on the left side of each post) like Join Date and Rep Power with ISP, Plan & Modem/Router details.

i meant vista, windows xp, windows 7

Yeah, I only suggested it to get some space to add the other details.

What about including ISP/Plan, Modem/Router details with each post ?

In what way are those details like ISP, modem and router going to be helpful to other members?

To troubleshoot the issue without asking/guessing about the model/make of router and modem.

For example- Wireless Router For Broadband??

I am already working on the new theme ... just a few tweaks and we will have a new theme which would be much more easier and lighter to use.

Will have all these details display in every posts under the number or posts and all those details for every member.

FreeBSD for other use.
Gentoo I love this OS.
& some time I install windows as virtual machine. I have original. For me using patented & pirated softwares both are sin but using patented can be forgiven but not pirated.
