Thread: How to post images: A guide..

Thanks mickey.. But my bmp files are comin upto 3mb+ which is not acceptable.. Have to compress that.. What a tedious process....!! :@

Other ways to post image



After uploading click the attachment button again to open a drop down menu. And click the name of the uploaded image(file).



This will add the code to display the image directly (not as attachment, also works for any attached files).



Or you can upload it to a free image hosting site and paste the direct url in the post using this button.



Free Image Hosting Sites

1. www.imageshack.us

2. www.photobucket.com

3. www.tinypic.com

4. www.picoodle.com

5. www.mediafire.com

PS, Free image hosting websites allow uploading of much bigger files, than forum attachments if you don't want to compress the image. Or you can use the in-built resizer/converter in Format Factory to batch resize/convert images.

Open your bmp images to paint and save as .jpg
