To be able to post Visitor messages your post count must be 500 or greater. You currently have 378 posts.

Is this a new rule ? VMs were handy. They will reduce the use of Private messages.

Tried to send a PM and got this

You currently have 379 posts and you can send PMs to following users only:
just4kix, smoothvibes, Admin, Rameshjeee

Hope this is a temporary arrangement.

This is temporary and will be normal as before as soon as I come up with a solution to the issue which has more or less been resolved by these restrictions.

Can we make this restriction as 100 posts or 300 posts instead of 500.

Unlimited visitors messaging. Because we have already got limited private messaging.

Being sure the problem 'll be resolved. just want to know if it possible to delete VM sent by you, in receiver's account..

You can use the edit option.

It is for the users to decide about PM's.

I allow PMs from friends and contacts. The reason is that I receive too many PMs requesting this help or that help, to which I reply, "search the forum or open a new thread where others who are more knowledgeable and experienced can also contribute".

These PMs fill my PM box (50 messages) very quickly.

But this issue is not about you or me. Recently a rule was implemented that disallows any user to use PM feature before reaching 500 posts. Such (new) users can PM to Admin and mods only. So even if I allow PMs from all, now that I am not a mod, new members will not be able to send PM to me.

We will have everything restored back to normal. I will be flying back home next week and I can hardly do anything at the moment as I dont know how to change these setting, it is fairly simple but it would need me to sit down and go through a lot of pages from the manual. I don't want to mess things up so one step at a time would be the better approach.

Please give it another week and I promise everything will be as it should be.
