Thread: Time interval between reporting posts

I reported a post in the morning. In the afternoon, I wanted to report a post and I got the following message:

This forum requires that you wait 15000 seconds between reporting posts. Please try again in 5388 seconds.

I feel that 15000 seconds (4 hours, 10 minutes) is too long a time. Please reduce this interval to much less, say 60 seconds.

I am sorry I missed this thread. I will reduce it to 60 seconds as soon as I find out how to do it.

I am happy to report that this is now fixed. I think the interval now is 15 seconds or something.

Yea, I think the interval being to high would miss out on appropriate reports. I do see why there is a limit though so the admin inbox doesn't get spammed with reported posts that takes forever to go through and find legit ones. Glad it's fixed now though.

Reported posts are sent as a post to a special folder (hidden to general users). Admin can turn off emails for reported posts.
