    Howdy! Good news is that bro is getting married on 9th Feb...
    Bad news is that I may not get much time to participate in the earlier part of the contest..

    Thanks to the one month period, I can still make a comeback...
    Gonna play it strategically... Aiming for the best quality thread starter...

    Video Game reviews out of contest is a bit surprising... As it would have attracted international traffic... Also, Video Games have always been part of the technology... They are used to benchmark the Hardware as well...

    I don't know whether the total threads count or the number of UNIQUE visitors to the forum. for ranking of the Forum. or for Advertisers.
    ( Some research site shows a downward trend for
    this forum in Ranking )
    2.
    The threads started in Tech forums, usually
    are listed in search engines within the first hour/or
    two pages, and even if you try the "Search'"option here , for IBF. related threads.
    3.
    These News items of general nature, are "One day" Wonder, and reproduction of newspaper reports.

    Extracting information from a technical site and starting a new thread to reproduce the subject, in own word takes time and effort. ( and @xxxxxx
    breathing down your neck !!!!)

    As far as I know, the visitors to the web from search engines should increase, and importance given to threads in different forums is not correct.

    for Instance a single tech thread posted by me, has almost 12,000 hits during past 4 or 5 months in two forums. ( here in IBF above 7000 hits ). ( like Guides by @jJust4kix )

    In some old contest number of posts was the criteria and the top prize was given to an user with almost more than 2000 posts!
    Hope we can refine the rules further, based on this contest.

    "NO General news please"

    Lets just take out the whole "General" thing

    All the forums at the bottom under the header "General" are not included in the contest. Those who have already posted is fine but do not post there if you are contesting.

    You can still post home appliance, gadgets and cars related reviews and threads....

    I might have missed out on something so please feel free to ask here if you think there is something that should be included in that section as there is a whole lot of things which I might have missed out on...

    Will change it to two tommorow then three day after ... makes sense? on the 28th of feb it would show last 28 days stats then ...
