Highest threads contest 1st Feb to 28th Feb

Another contest! Its just about flooding this forum with information and I would really appreciate if you only open new threads which carry some information that forum visitors/members will find useful.

Here are the prizes :

1st Prize : Rs 10000

2nd Prize : Rs 5000

3rd Prize : Rs 3000

All those members who complete 150 new threads during this contest will get a consolation prize of Rs1500 if they dont win one of the top 3 prizes.

Best quality thread starter would get a prize of Rs5000

Member of the month will again be Rs3000

Rules : No nonsense
Anyone found posting useless stuff will be disqualified
There is a minimum of 120 words you need to have in your threads and those who would be found opening one line threads will be disqualified.

Copied content will mean an instant disqualification.

Here are a few things that you cannot post:
You cannot open threads in these sections :

"NO General news please"

Lets just take out the whole "General" thing

All the forums at the bottom under the header "General" are not included in the contest. Those who have already posted is fine but do not post there if you are contesting.

And that sort of stuff would mean you are not in the competition.... there will be no warnings as I do not have time to deal with such stuff and I would rely on senior members to report such things... a few reported threads and I will list out your name saying you are no more in the competition.

I know there will be people who would say oh this thing was not mentioned in the rules and that thing wasn't... well use your common sense and just stick to opening threads that would add to the knowledge base as thats what would add money to your bank account

Contest starts Midnight today and will end midnight 28th Feb.

Can you please reconsider the 150 word limit. While posting news and current affairs I could hardly muster some 100 words. It will be nice if you can make it lesser.

How can you use a post you have already made in the contest! Then no one would bother writing new posts

The contest starts from tomorrow and all threads have to be new not old ones used before! Anyway nothing is going to happen with just one thread! Especially with Meetdilip in the contest

The things people come up with to increase their thread count...honestly!

Yes hardware/software reviews are all good.

I dont think you can use a unverified paypal account to buy stuff as most sellers want verefied customers.

I am sure you can get your peice of hardware at one of the shops where you live... Might actually get it at more or less the same price.

I was a little late to withdraw my last winnings. I lost around Rs. 200 as dollar prices fell. Can we have NEFT bank transfer. I do not have ICICI bank account.

If you win this time I will make up for that Rs200 loss and also add a little bonus for being a winner twice in a row.
