    Dear Admin of this forum

I am new to this forum, not new to forums in general though

I posted a topic in the BSNL broadband section today and I see it is deleted in less than one hr. I sent you a PM but I didn't receive any reply yet

Would you please tell me what is wrong with my post, how I spam using that etc ? So that I can take care not to repeat such mistakes in future

    Thanks in advance

Your thread was deleted coz it had a link to your site which is not allowed unless you have been a member long enough and have a good repo here and 50-60 posts for example sake.

As you said there are no adverts on your site, That doesnt give you liberty to come around and post your link here. Ads or no ads its still another site and all you are trying to do is put your point across and you are doing that very well with your site then when you come to this forum I dont see a point in letting you post your links here

Hope this clears things up a bit for the time being.

Yes it does amount to spamming or advertising (spamming is not inseperable with revenue genration) your site here and when you already have a platform to communicate why put your link here? To get more exposure? The you need to go to some webmaster forums and find out what they say about this.

Members like mmm are allowed to promote thier sites here be it with or without ads but thats coz he has contributed so much in this forum.

    Kind Regards
    Admin

    Thank you for your clarification

I did post my site link in various forums and I didn't find any problem so far and that is the reason why I tried to do the same here. but I see things are different here, rules are different, so I am not supposed to post external links.

    Really sorry about it

Just one more question, do you mind me sharing my experience with BSNL here in this forum ? If so, in which forum I should start a new thread ?

Please ignore if I am not allowed to do that too
