Could members of IBF have automatic access with same ID PW?
instead of registering again .

When will we upgrade to V Bulletin 4 ?

As it is, forum pages load quite fast, and all options are available.
( except switching from one forum to another)
in another forum, too many links added and looks overloaded, and takes time.
( same "VB 4.0.3 " like India Travel Forum)

One query:
Annexures made by members which appear in their USERCP.
Is it allowed to delete some of them ?
for instance I have 367 using 14.84 MB in 19 pages.
would like to delete/ some old annnexures . and to reduce the size of the list. for quick reference.

Sorry guys the script at the new forum will need to be reinstalled due to a stupid mistake Ive made.. I am sick of this internet connection.. too much packet loss and uploading anything to a server is such a pain.

I have only just managed to do the basic install and initial setup... I am not used to this CMS thing and this is going to take some time for me to get my head around it..

I will create the new subforums as soon as I am done with the initial setup.

The problem is we do not have consent of forum members here to move their posts away from this domain.
Its the same problem with letting members here access the other forum without having to register there with the same user name as here.. It would be illegal as the thousands of members we have agreed to the terms and conditions that do not include any mention that their user id and password would be associated with another website at some point..


On the other hand we will have Facebook connect on India travel forum which would allow those who have Facebook ids to login at the forum without going through too much hassle..


I dont know if anyone of you noticed but Ive had that domain since last two years and the holidaytravelforum.com is even older.. Had this plan for so many years just never had enough time to get it started..

Yes you can upload as much as you want but I am yet to look into upload permissions and dont know what the default is so give it a week or two and I will announce it here when the site is ready for a launch

This project is still very much alive although work is going on a snails pace. I hope it would all be ready for a launch by the end of this year

2012! We have risen from the dead again. I refuse to die. Its a joint project now me and smoothie looking after things now and the budget we have is "huge"
Its going to run now... no more giving up due to lack of time now.. I am going to devote some time on the net just to make sure that this forum takes off We are going to spend "tons" of money on this project

Suggestions about the website I meant not about spending or giving away the money. A gentleman sent me a PM reffering to this thread saying he needs some money and he goes you have got a huge budget for the website please spare some for me along with his bank account number. You all must be wondering what he needs the money for ... so was I so I sent a PM asking what does he need the money for and guess what the reply was? He needs the money to take his girlfriend out for a 10 days holiday to Goa and he even gave me an option to book him a hotel room if I dont want to do a bank transfer..

I would disagree. For one, this is a broadband forum. Secondly, travellers are looking for travel specific information. Moving travel realted suff here will not result in good SEO and search results. Also, it would unnecessarily clutter this forum. As it is, we do have too many sections not related to Broadband.

I agree with Just4kix, we can not move/redirect content or forum from here. India Travel Forum is a totally different forum and have to survive on its own.
