Thread: [Request] Attention Mods and Admins !!!

Hello all senior members, mods and admins,

I was awake whole night and was completing my article, but later i found that IBF limits to only 8 images And you know i had to merge many images into 1 which was a real hard work. And i want to add some more articles for contest but they Must require space for more than 8 images and this time there is absolutely no chance that i can merge. So i request mods and admins please remove the limit atleast in contest section as soon as possible. After all, i want to displace those leading horses.

And if u accept my request please let me know here so that i can post the articles.

Use this site for more images when your limit crosses: ImageShack® - Online Media Hosting

That is true. Forum restricts to 8 images. But you can post divide the article in two or more parts and have appropriate images in each part.

Just write "to be continued" at the end of the each incomplete part.

Actually gaggan i want to add more than 8 pics on a post, anyways i appreciate your help.

Alright i though so to do, but you know if it was possible in just one post it looks a nice piece of article to read. Anyways iam going to split and post but plz dont mind coz iam going to divide it in many contest, i hope that it would be considered for contest. And thanks for the quick response.

Please create one article/thread for one topic. If there are multiple threads, I will most reluctantly will have to disqualify it.

You can easily upload as many images as you want into your album and just use the image urls to post your images... this way you will also be assured that the images will not be deleted like they do on image hosting sites after a while.

Yea i got it. I will just split on article in one thread only just as u did in the above link u gave.

Aah nice idea, but to see pics readers have to visit another site that is where the album is hosted. And then have to written back to article to continue reading.

just have them as different posts,I have done the same with my entry...

Yeah rajan iam going to do that only, still was hoping to get a better way.

Just4kix, really we can host a album at IBF sorry but i visited the link u gave there is no album. Or i dont know could u tell me how to host one?

Go to userCP and click on "Albums" link. You can create an album with pics and then each pic can be linked via URL.

That thread was on how to show pics in albums in your thread.

Hey I coudn't find album link in usercp.

I went to userCP but there was no "Albums", can you give me the link directly? in userCP i dont find any such lihnks.

The albums link is on User CP on the LHS panel. It will be in the "Networking" box.

I found only contacts and friend under networking.

@just4kix: I just rechecked there is only "Contacts & Friends" under networking box. I think album feature is only available for mods and admins. And the direct album link you gave, it doesn't allow me to access that page.

How many images do you want to post at one go?

I have taken off the max images limit for now... but that is an invitation to spammers who advertise porn websites and the only reason their posts never show up on the forum is that we have a restriction on number of images and their bots try to post more like 20-30 images in one post.. If we start getting spam again we might have to put a more reasonable limit again.

Thanks Admin, yes i can understand advertisers...

Just a suggestion, while registering including a captcha will avoid spammers i think (Atleast bots)

Its done... post as many as you like.. Try not to post large size images inline.
