Admin and I are getting many PMs from some members asking Sahil to be admitted back stating that he is sorry about his behaviour, etc.

There are two misconceptions that I wish to clear:

• Sahil was banned because he created multiple id's
• He was banned because he abused me.

Sahil was not banned for multiple id's. Yes. Multiple id's are not allowed are a reason enough for ban. But we implement that rule very lightly. The alias Kadamba was banned because the id Albert was active.

Banned because he abused me. Well, the second reason was partially responsible. He hurled the choicest bad words on me. But that was only the last straw. He had it coming.

Sahil and his other aliases has been banned at least 8/10 times for bad behaviour. It is his repeated behaviour about fighting with forum members, trying to behave like a mod, etc. that got him banned. I am not sure whether he will improve.

Actually, I have no grudge against him. All those obsenities and gaalis that he hurled on me are not consequential. I am pretty used to it by now.

Contrary to what some may feel, I am quite against banning. Does not look too good on the forum also.

Now, if Sahil says that he is sorry and says that he is going to amend his behaviour, what is the guarantee.

He had a number of chances not just one.. He created multiple id's and all were banned for different reasons not just because they all belonged to Sahil/Albert/Sanjeev.

well he still visits this forum.....well, yes, he has said many bad things to many of us here (J4k and Dilip to name a few), but thats past. Yes, he has had many chances before, but he wants 1 final chance, i think we can give him that, can't we?

Have a look at this way, if he wanted to, he could make 100's of IDs and go on, but he did not make more IDs after Milind1814, he is asking for one last chance. If he does not mend his ways, then we can do the same(ban), and the situation will be the same again as it is right now,but he will not ask us for permission again.

So i hope you got what I mean........

Your allowing him back?

I think a public apology is going to do the trick... if he cant do that he better stay anonymous and not tell anyone who he is and keep getting banned as soon as we find out its him.
