Thread: Open ID login support

Like enable linking facebook / twitter login methods as it is fast and more convenient and would even contribute to more popularity of this site!

Yeah this is a great idea but users are concerned over giving passwords to other sites except facebook/twitter, also this may make the forum vulnerable to hacker attacks

I don't see why people say it can make the forum vulnerable.. Almost anything is vulnerable in this world... nothing is perfect. There are a lot of premium sites like "digg" which offers seamless login with facebook.. It only matters how the content is shared and what data needs to be sent and how the authentication has to take place.. Passwords don't go to facebook.. Only Personal data and other hashes COME IN.. We are in control.
