There are somethings that are very unfair to New Users
1] Why is the limit for Avtar 1000 posts,cant it be 100 posts because new user who are regular posters cant have a display picture like others

2] The No of posts for visitor messaging should also be 100 because new users always have to PM if there is any query

I believe that Avataar issue has been explained earlier. There is a bandwidth issue here and hence the privelege has been given to senior members. I understand that this is an irritant to new users and perhaps is creating a class divide. But it is not really a core issue that impedes anyone's participation.

Visitor Messages are public messages that anyone can see from the user's information display. Private Messages are for (as adjectivated) for private one-on-one talks. These should not be used for queries and resolutions. Everyone, including Admin and me have the same limit on PM - 50 PMs total in all.

but the bandwidth issue was when it was hosted in india,now that its back in the US,it should not be an issue....PM limits are fine IMO...
