Thread: The universal spec sheet/price list idea!!

First things, first- The introduction.

I am The Sorcerer and usually associated with Techenclave, chip, digit, broadband India forums and gamebashing as a contributor and reviewer. I've made multiple price lists, guides and hardware reviews over the years.

I made a price list/spec sheet using google spreadsheet and keep it shared/maintained/edited between TE, Chip and digit members. The list is taken care by 2-3 honest and trusted members from each forum who have done selfless contributions over the years. We thought that if we share some of our resources with eachother this will make the community stronger as a whole. So far we have about 12 contributors keeping that list updated.

Now thanks to this initiative of sharing the price list/spec sheet between forums, nbaztec of the digit forums was able to make "build your pc" template from here: nbaztec.com | Build You Rig!

What it does is that it uses the data from the spec/price list automatically and reflects on the pc building template, thereby giving you a good idea of your system configuration and the prices.

I would appreciate if the google spreadsheet BB code is implemented, so that this spreadsheet can be displayed in the following manner:

And its on digit, but currently their forum is down for maintainence.

great stuff mate, that would have taken a Looooong time to compile. I too am working on a similar list, much less detail though. Would love to help out
