Asianet communications is very poular for their digital TV services and internet services over their cable network (has some tie up with Cisco)

There are no "local cable operators" in Kerala, the entire state (90 %) is wired up by Asianet communications, and this is one the major resons why DTH companies cannot make a good start there, since most of the pay channels are available in their digital TV network, at a discounted rate than that of the DTH operators. I personnaly belong to Kerala, but now living in Delhi, subscribed to Dish TV!
