Mickey have you got some tool bar or something installed on firefox? I would also recommend running a full system scan.

    Also,
i prefer having an earlier version of FireFox without any add ons only for testing !
Also can try the current version in SAFE MODE.
Problem arises.also if too many web sites have been opened, and not closed.
Another user complained of FF5.0 crashing often
I, tested via TEAM Viewer. and upgraded to 5.0.1
In safe mode found an option. select Firefox defaults ( not user settings ).To me it appeared browser was working Ok.
    Declared "FIT" !!
Anyway another "specialist" has been consulted and is checking now. will update here if problem found and solved.

Last late night another forum's pages were getting displayed erratically. Tested in IE9 Ok. This morning cleared cache of FF with Ccleaner and normal now.

In Ccleaner option to delete OLD System Restore points not available. for Windows 7. works well with XP.

    Thanks essbebe

as you mentioned about addons, i have a flv downloader , uninstalled it the problem was there.. .

i see the problem is with adplus..
so disabled the adplus for IBF and now i see its working fine...

so adplus is the one making problems..
i deleted cache and everything and it didnt helped much.

anyways. thanks all of you for the problem solving..

well couldnt say the problem is solved fully..
Both IBF and techforumindia are not opening on one browser (while opening on the other).. dont know whats the problem..
