    Default Block @gmail.com & @yahoo.com

To admin, please block these two textlets all over the forum, will help eradicate email ids written all over the forum.

suggestions: @gmail @yahoo @hotmail with .com extentions, and with spaces between @ sign and username and domain ext.

Doing this would restrict a lot of other functions as well like sharing e-mails for customer service for instance and so on... having a blanket ban of words like gmail and yahoo etc would just annoy people.. you and me included. I would rather go around manually delete such personal info as and when I get time and I always appreciate people reporting posts.

well, GMAIL is now the best email provider but yes their are people who use it for SPAM too.

In my forum, suddenly their was increase in SPAM posters, typically 8-9 a day but on the contrary their can double the legit members.

So if you block GMAIL or YAHOO, you will only see less members registering.

    I have another problem>
I had allowed Private messages, and get daily one or two from new members giving their email ID for my suggestions on various matters.

I think there should be a restriction that NEW members without minimum say 25 posts cannot send PM to members.

This will in effect, increase activity in forum.
I have asked a new member to start a thread in forum.

Blocking PM to all defeats the facility available !! Requests to add as contacts/friends , I normally do not refuse./decline.
