Thread: Where To Report About Fraud Numbers..??

Hey Friends,

Does anybody know where to report about the fraud numbers in India?? From last few weeks I'm getting some fake sms on my mobile phone..like.. "UR MOBILE NU WAS SELECTED IN THE BLACKBERRY SEPTEMBER INTL MOBILE DRAW IN UK, TO RECEIVE UR 6 CRORE RUPEES+1CURRENT BLACKBERRY MOBILE CONTACT BY E-ML: bbawd 'AT' w.cn" from 9873620066

Do we've any legal body which looks into these kinds of matters in India??

They are introducing this DND shortly. One can register his/her number here. This stands for Do Not Disturb. If you don't care the presence of the disturbing elements they are valueless. The more you pay attention they become powerful. You saw this movie HAUNTED. Shaitaan ka naam nahi lete.

I think the thread starter is right. It is not like getting attention. We will be able to track them and may even bring them to justice. But as we can see, there is no proper mechanism in place to deal with such frauds and hence their growth. It is high time that we have some authority to whom we can report these fraud no.s and emails.

But, can we create such a portal over internet to report these numbers.. I've seen on facebook on Delhi Traffic Police page, people are uploading the photographs of the vehicle using any sign of Delhi Police on their number plate, and police is taking actions against their owners....
