@Admin can you please give us some rights to ban users or to give warnings to stop all these jerks i mean those who give advertisements and all that sh*t which try to ruin this excellent forum

atleast you can give rights to a sensible and trustworthy person..........so he can take care of these nasty things

please somebody response if this is possible or not

Only an administrator or moderator can do these things. I believe that 'pirate' and 'mmm' are couple of moderators but both are now MIA.

I also endorse the views on unsolitated advertising but it is difficult to judge genuine sellers from the fakes; although I would suspect anyone posting "sales" as their first post to be in the later category.

I will advise all our regular members and readers (guests) one thing though - please do not buy directly from anyone you do not know - especially those with low post counts. Also I am sure that this site does not encourage buy/sell and 100% confident that 'admin' will take no responsibility for frauds, etc. I will advise eBay or such sites that thrive on internet sales and maintain strict control on payments and frauds.

I have taken a few steps to make it more difficult and time consuming to spam on this forum which will prevent more then 80% of spam from now on as it will be very frustrating for a spammer and they would move on to softer targets

I am thinking of removing the buy and sell section as it was nothing but a place to sell stolen rapidshare and other accounts (there were exceptions to this but they are a minority)
Lets see how it goes for a couple of months and we go from there.

As just4kix rightly mentioned in the above post Ebay and amazone sort of places will be far more better options to buy or sell anything as they are insured against frauds and they have strict checks in place which is not possible here.

The buy and sell section we have here was orignally targetted to those buyers and sellers who wanted to trade in used stuff like for instance a cd drive they dont use any more or a crt monitor which has been replaced by a tft screen so that other members can make use of those opportunities and get these kind of things at a cheaper price and sellers would get more for their stuff as there wont be any middle men involved but looks like such a niche doesnt really exist here in India unlike UK and USA.
Lets hope that section kicks off in the way it was orignally created for.

I always make it a point to remove all the spam from the forum every 24 hours with a few exceptions. Still if you find any unwanted messages please use the report option and those messages will be deleted asap.
