as the title suggest i think this forum should go green meaning there by can you change the background to black colour as white colour consumes more power than black and it strain the eyes as well so what's the deal then?

I can may be upload a few extra themes and let every one choose the one they like.

I never expected such awkward comments from you geeks and from admin as well wearing green pyjamas and all that

Now here's what i am trying to say-- browse this website for about an hour or so and then visit any website which uses black colour in background for eg. cooldbz.com and then notice the difference on your eyes and then only you will realize what i am trying to say

do you know how white colour formed ..........??
by mixing all the primary colours i.e. Red Green Blue or RGB so unless an until all the phosphorous dots are not activated by the electron gun white colour will not be formed and thus consuming the maximium power.

Sunday night I will upload atleast 5-6 extra themes so every one can choose whatever suits them the most and guests will see the one which we already using right now.

If you have any suggestions about new themes please comment here and if you want a particular theme which you like just send me the url and I will try and get that theme for you.

i was taking it easy but you were making fun of it thats why in a replied in a serious manner

I am not talking about the themes its waste of time and space just change the background colour thats all!! and most of the traffic is from guest users so whats the point that only registered members will be able to change themes and no one will even look or bother to change themes

happy that something i learnt today. Thanks Player. But i dont feel that black color would attrack peoples. I have designed 4 websites, if my prediction is correct, for a professional look i wont prefer black specifically. But i do prefer dark colors esp for flash sites.

But lets see how the site looks after applying black theme. Moreover this site contains google and other ads, i dont know how it will suite if the background is changed to anyother color other than white (bcoz most of the background of ads are white). I think it would be like ads hanging on the sides of the website and they might be populated in a page much more than actual site contents.

Now from where this ads come from i dont see any ads being popped up only i can see a small banner at the top right corner thats all and i think admin's priority is not to make money from this forum i think.

But I am not planning on having ads on the dark custom themes and those themes will only be avialable to members and they wont see any ads anywhere while using those themes.

The theme we are using right now will stay as it is and our members will be able to choose the theme of their choice.

In my opinion darker themes are not that appealing but then every one has his/her own likes and dislikes.
