Its because we needed a lot of hardware upgrades and also custom partition of hard drives and also I have opted for raptors to fetch data even more speedily.

The new server is also in USA.

Dont worry the plan is to move just the data base first and then the front end will be running on both the servers till full propogation is done and this way there shouldnt be any downtime atall... this 12 hours down time I mentions will come into play if things go wrong .

Not yet... We have got the new server all set up now but some things still need to be done like hardening it for security and a few adons and stuff.

Even thought everything will be ready by this morning but I really cant give any time frames as there are too many things which are not in my own hands..

First we were given an ip address which had a lot of spam and other voilation complaints before so I had to get that changed and a couple of other things.. so to get everything as we want it to be it would take a little time..
